Authenticating old sets

Discovered for you from r/legotechnic

Curious how crazy some of you get when authenticating old sets. I’ve been buying a lot of retired sets on eBay, typically sealed and unsealed boxes but contents in sealed bags. I’ve been printing parts lists and confirming not only LEGO markings but part number on each piece. I’m starting to get lazy though since that’s taking more time than actual building. I’m thinking of just making sure the LEGO markings are present and moving on? submitted by /u/RibbedGoliath [link] [comments]
