Audi quattro etron incorrect hub cable ports??
The user, /u/WhenitHappens62, is seeking help with a LEGO set issue. Their son, who is autistic, enjoys disassembling and reassembling LEGO sets, specifically the Audi quattro e-tron. The problem is that after removing and reattaching the motor hub cables, the Control+ app incorrectly identifies the cables as being in the wrong ports, preventing the car from calibrating and connecting to the app.
The user has already tried several troubleshooting steps, including checking the cable connections, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and restarting the hub. They also attempted to use the Brick Controller 2 app but found that it requires an additional Bluetooth controller, which they don't have. The user is looking for any solutions or similar experiences from other LEGO enthusiasts.
The core issue appears to be a software or hardware conflict within the LEGO Control+ system. The user's attempts to resolve the problem through standard troubleshooting have been unsuccessful, suggesting a deeper problem. The inability to calibrate the car and connect to the app renders the set's interactive features unusable.
For anyone experiencing similar issues, it might be worth exploring the LEGO customer support channels for assistance. If you're looking for a way to keep your LEGO sets organized, consider getting a LEGO storage organizer.
