Dana Scully, Scrubs

When it comes to sci-fi television royalty, Dana Scully is an absolute must-have for any serious collector. This 'Scrubs' variant captures the iconic FBI special agent and medical doctor in her element, complete with her characteristic dark orange hair and a specialized lab coat torso over a bright light blue shirt. The inclusion of dual-expression printing—featuring a standard focused look alongside a black goggles option with white glass printing—adds incredible display versatility that fans of the paranormal investigation genre will deeply appreciate.

As part of the highly anticipated 2026 X-Files release, this minifigure represents a landmark crossover into official LEGO form for one of the most beloved television duos of all time. Condition will be paramount for future collectors, particularly ensuring that the delicate white glass print on the goggles and the bright light blue hand elements remain pristine without scuffs or discoloration. Because this version is tied directly to Scully's scientific background and laboratory investigations, it stands out from standard suit-and-tie variants as a uniquely thematic piece.

Currently tied exclusively to a single specialized set—Scully's Lab (40896-1)—this minifigure holds an inherently high baseline rarity due to its limited distribution. Single-set exclusives from licensed adult-oriented themes notoriously command high attention upon release, and because this figure does not appear in any cheaper or more widely accessible polybags, aftermarket seekers will have to source it directly from the primary set.

Market data indicates that single-source television figures of this caliber tend to experience immediate spikes in demand as completionists and nostalgic fans rush to secure them. As the 2026 set moves closer to its eventual retirement, availability on secondary platforms will tighten considerably, making early acquisition a smart move for dedicated X-Files completists.

While current market data is still tracking initial value trends for this fresh 2026 release, the long-term investment outlook for iconic pop-culture crossovers is exceptionally bright. Cult-classic television properties backed by passionate adult collector bases consistently outperform standard theme figures once they leave shelves. Given that Dana Scully is half of one of the most famous investigative partnerships in television history, the pairing with Mulder creates an all-or-nothing demand dynamic among display collectors.

Compared to generic licensed characters, main protagonists of prestige sci-fi dramas hold their value remarkably well. As the set containing her retires, expect steady upward pressure on her individual part-out value, earning her a solid spot in any themed display portfolio.
