Soccer Player Goalie Green Torso, Black Legs, Black Cap

This classic Goalie minifigure originates from the inaugural wave of the LEGO Sports Soccer subtheme in 2000. Outfitted in a solid green torso with black keeper gloves (hands), black legs, and a vintage black long-peak cap, this figure captures the simplistic charm of early millennium LEGO action sports sets.

While this particular configuration was only cataloged in a single set—the retired 3404 Team Bus—all four component elements are standard, unprinted LEGO pieces. The head features the timeless classic smiley print, meaning finding replacement parts is straightforward, though pristine original vintage components are always appreciated by theme completists.

For vintage LEGO Sports collectors, this figure represents an essential piece of sports theme history, completing the roster of generic team players designed to interact with the classic spring-loaded kicker and goalie slider mechanisms.

Technically, this exact minifigure assembly is exclusive to set 3404-1 (Team Bus - Black), which had a limited production run starting in the year 2000. It was not released in any polybags or standard team accessory packs.

However, because the minifigure is composed entirely of unprinted, widely available classic elements (plain green torso, plain black legs, standard grin head, and a plain black cap), its aftermarket scarcity is low. Replicating the figure using bulk vintage parts is relatively effortless for collectors.

From an investment standpoint, this minifigure offers limited stand-alone growth potential. Minifigures lacking exclusive torso prints, specialized dual-molding, or unique head prints rarely command significant aftermarket premiums, even when attached to retired 2000s sets.

The value of this figure is intrinsically linked to complete-in-box (CIB) copies of set 3404. Unless a collector specifically requires a 100% period-accurate assembly to complete an intact vintage Sports collection, loose demand remains modest.
