Pirate - Green Stripes, Black Legs, Blue Bandana

This Pirate minifigure, with its distinctive green striped tunic and blue bandana, offers a unique twist on the classic LEGO pirate aesthetic. Collectors appreciate the unusual color scheme, which sets it apart from more common pirate designs. The gold tooth and coarse stubble print on the head add character, making it a desirable addition to any pirate-themed collection.

The fact that this minifigure only appears in one set, the 'Pirates Chess' set, further enhances its collectibility. Chess sets are often produced in limited quantities compared to regular playsets, making minifigures exclusive to them more sought after. Condition is important; look for figures with minimal wear to the torso printing and undamaged accessories.

This minifigure's rarity stems from its exclusive appearance in the 'Pirates Chess' set (852751-1) released in 2009. As a set produced for a limited time and not widely available in all regions, the minifigure has a relatively low distribution. While not exceedingly rare, its limited availability contributes to a higher demand on the aftermarket. The retirement of the set further solidifies its rarity, as no new figures are being introduced into the market.
