AT-AT Driver, White Uniform, Plain Black Head (87556 Helmet)

The AT-AT Driver minifigure is desirable for Star Wars collectors due to its association with the iconic AT-AT Walker, a symbol of the Imperial war machine. The white uniform and specialized helmet make it visually distinct and instantly recognizable. Completing the crew of an AT-AT is a key goal for many fans, making this minifigure a necessary addition.

The plain black head is a notable feature for customizers and those who prefer a more uniform look. While not unique to this minifigure, it adds to the overall appeal for builders seeking to populate their LEGO dioramas with Imperial forces. The figure's condition is crucial; look for clean printing on the torso and helmet, and minimal wear on the legs and hands.

This AT-AT Driver appeared in four sets, including a magnet set and two larger vehicles, over the course of two years (2010-2011). While not an exclusive, its presence in the popular Snowtrooper Battle Pack and the main AT-AT Walker set increases its availability on the aftermarket. However, demand consistently outstrips supply, contributing to its value. It's not considered extremely rare, but it's also not overly common, striking a balance that appeals to collectors.
