Patrick Star

Patrick Star is a highly sought-after minifigure due to his iconic status as SpongeBob SquarePants' best friend. His unique starfish head mold and printed torso make him instantly recognizable and a must-have for fans of the show. The nostalgia factor associated with the SpongeBob theme also contributes to his collectibility, as many adults who grew up watching the cartoon are now LEGO collectors.

Collectors often look for Patrick in excellent condition, with minimal wear on the printing. Complete figures with all original parts command a premium. His appearance in several retired sets adds to his allure, as obtaining him individually is often the only way to add him to a collection without purchasing the full sets.

Patrick Star appears in 6 different LEGO sets, all of which were released between 2006 and 2009 and are now retired. While not a super rare minifigure compared to some exclusive promotional items, his limited production window and the fact that all his sets are now off the market increase his desirability. He was also available in a magnet set, which can sometimes be found in good condition, adding a bit of availability to the aftermarket.
