Futuron Spaceman, Black with Airtanks and Dark Blue Visor, White Helmet

The Black Futuron Spaceman is a highly sought-after minifigure due to its striking color scheme and association with the classic LEGO Space theme. The combination of black and white with the dark blue visor creates a visually appealing and unique minifigure. Its relative scarcity compared to other Futuron colors adds to its desirability among collectors.

Condition is crucial for this minifigure. Collectors will pay a premium for figures with minimal wear on the torso printing and an unblemished helmet and visor. The integrity of the black plastic, which can be prone to fading or discoloration, is also a key factor.

This particular Black Futuron Spaceman only appeared in one set, the Star Quest promotional set, making it relatively rare compared to the red, blue, yellow, and green Futuron variants that appeared in multiple sets. The Star Quest set was a promotional item, further limiting its distribution.

While not as elusive as some of the ultra-rare test print minifigures, the limited availability and high demand from LEGO Space enthusiasts contribute to its status as a difficult-to-find piece. Aftermarket prices reflect this, with well-preserved figures commanding a premium.
