Shark Army Thug

The Shark Army Thug minifigure is a desirable addition to any LEGO Ninjago collection, particularly for those focusing on the villains from the 2017 movie wave. Its unique head print, featuring a brown stubble beard, dark brown eyepatch, and freckles, sets it apart from typical minifigure designs. The dark orange knitted cap adds to the distinct look, making it instantly recognizable as a member of the Shark Army.

Collectors appreciate minifigures that represent specific factions or groups within a theme, and the Shark Army Thugs provide a tangible representation of the Ninjago movie's antagonists. As the sets containing this minifigure are now retired, acquiring one in good condition can become more challenging over time, further increasing its appeal to dedicated collectors.

This minifigure appears in two sets from 2017: NINJAGO City Chase and the Lightning Jet. While not exclusive to a single, highly limited set, its presence in only two sets contributes to a moderate level of rarity. Given that these sets are now retired, the supply of Shark Army Thug minifigures is finite, with availability dependent on the aftermarket (BrickLink, eBay, etc.). The minifigure is not a regional exclusive or special edition, but its limited production window impacts its overall availability.
