Cole with Orange Asian Symbol on Head Wrap (Hunted)

This iteration of Cole from the fan-favorite Ninjago 'Hunted' subtheme stands out for its distinct aesthetic, capturing the rugged, battle-hardened look the ninja adopted while stranded in the First Realm. Collectors prize this version specifically for its unique head wrap featuring the striking orange Asian symbol print, which sets it apart from standard iterations of the Earth Ninja. The detailed printing on the torso—showcasing armor, chain mail, and a ripped shirt—alongside the dual-sided head with confident smile and angry expressions, adds immense display value for enthusiasts completing their master ninja rosters.

When acquiring this figure for a collection, pay close attention to the condition of the printed elements, particularly the orange symbol on the head wrap and the knee pad details on the legs, as these can suffer from play wear over time. Because this version captures a very specific, gritty narrative arc from the television series, it holds a special nostalgia factor for longtime fans who followed the Hunted storyline closely. Finding one complete with both the head wrap and the face scarf intact is essential for purists looking to display the character in his full armored gear.

The Hunted wave version of Cole is notably scarce on the secondary market due to its limited distribution footprint. Unlike common wave figures that appear across multiple retail boxes, this specific variant was locked behind a single, massive flagship release from 2018, meaning collectors had to purchase a heavy-ticket set to secure him. This single-source availability naturally restricts the overall supply circulating among traders and collectors today.

As years pass since the retirement of his lone home set, finding loose, complete examples in pristine condition has become increasingly challenging. Many copies remain trapped inside built sets owned by nostalgic fans or locked away in private collections, driving up the competitive hunt for loose figures at brick conventions and online marketplaces.
