Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Dragon Pit (70655) presents a mixed investment outlook. As a retired Ninjago set, it benefits from the theme's enduring popularity and the set's robust piece count. The inclusion of nine minifigures, some exclusive, enhances its appeal to collectors. However, its status as a playset rather than a display model might limit its long-term appreciation compared to UCS sets. The current rising price trend suggests growing demand, but potential investors should monitor market conditions and consider the set's play-oriented nature. While it's unlikely to skyrocket, the Dragon Pit should hold its value and potentially appreciate modestly over time, especially if kept in pristine condition.

The Dragon Pit stands out as a detailed playset within the Ninjago theme, offering a more interactive experience compared to display-focused sets like Ninjago City. While sets like Temple of the Airjitzu offer a similar building style and display presence, the Dragon Pit provides a unique play experience centered around a dragon's lair. Collectors prioritizing play features and minifigure selection might prefer the Dragon Pit over other Ninjago sets.
