Racer, Red Jacket with Octan Logo and 'RACING', Red Legs, White Helmet with Black Visor, Sunglasses

This classic Octan-themed racer minifigure sparks nostalgia for LEGO fans who grew up in the late 90s. The simple design, featuring the iconic Octan logo, makes it a quintessential LEGO town figure. It's a great addition to any LEGO City collection, especially for those focused on vehicles and racing themes.

The minifigure's appeal also lies in its relative simplicity compared to modern minifigures. It represents an era when LEGO figures had less detailed printing and fewer accessories, offering a charming retro feel. Collectors appreciate the minifigure for its clean design and connection to LEGO's history.

The Racer with the Red Jacket appears in only three sets, all released in 1997 and 1999. While not exceedingly rare, its limited number of appearances makes it less common than minifigures found in a wider range of sets. Because all the sets are retired, obtaining this minifigure requires finding it on the secondary market.

Its availability is generally good, but condition plays a significant role in its value. Minifigures with intact printing and minimal wear will command a higher price than those with scratches or faded logos.
