Bilbo Baggins - Dark Red Coat

The Bilbo Baggins minifigure with the Dark Red Coat is a desirable piece for collectors of The Hobbit theme. Its unique torso print, featuring a jacket with buttons, an olive vest, and an ascot tie, sets it apart. The tousled medium nougat hairpiece and the Bilbo-specific head print add to its charm.

As a central character in both 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings', Bilbo Baggins holds a special place in pop culture. Owning a LEGO representation of this character is appealing to fans of the books and films. The minifigure's condition significantly impacts its collectibility, with pristine figures commanding higher prices.

This version of Bilbo appears in five sets, including a promotional item (magnet) and a Comic-Con exclusive (Micro Scale Bag End). While not the rarest minifigure overall, the inclusion in the limited Comic-Con set elevates its status. The sets containing this minifigure were produced between 2012 and 2013, making them all retired, which contributes to the increasing scarcity of the minifigure on the aftermarket.
