Kai

As a micro-scale or promotional-style Ninjago set with a very low piece count, Kai (KAI-1) offers virtually no traditional investment upside. Mass-produced character packs and small blister-pack style sets rarely appreciate significantly on the secondary market unless tied to an extremely rare, exclusive minifigure. While the Ninjago theme remains one of LEGO's most enduring and successful proprietary lines, tiny introductory sets like this generally hold steady at their original low retail price rather than gaining value. Collectors looking for investment-grade Ninjago sets should focus on large modular buildings, D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) titans, or retired flagship dragons and mechs. Ultimately, treat this set as a fun, budget-friendly impulse purchase rather than a portfolio piece. The ROI here is purely measured in smiles per brick.
