The Armor Case Kit for Nintendo DSi is a quirky piece of LEGO history. Released in 2011, it represents a unique intersection of LEGO and video game culture, offering a brick-built protective case for the Nintendo DSi handheld console.

This set is perfect for LEGO collectors interested in novelty items and video game memorabilia. The build is simple and quick, making it a fun conversation starter and display piece rather than a complex building project.

The Armor Case Kit for Nintendo DSi is a niche collectible item. Its value as an investment depends heavily on the condition and completeness of the set, including the original packaging. Given its low piece count and specialized nature, it's unlikely to see significant appreciation, but its rarity and appeal to both LEGO and Nintendo collectors could make it a worthwhile addition to a diversified portfolio. The low piece count and niche appeal limit its potential for explosive growth, but its uniqueness helps it stand out.

The set includes a variety of printed 2x2 tiles which could be useful for adding detail to MOCs. The limited color palette and small quantity of parts make it less appealing for parts-out buyers.
