The Official Annual 2024 is a unique product that combines a LEGO minifigure and a small build with an activity book. Its investment potential is limited due to the low piece count and focus on the activity book aspect. However, the exclusive Aki Jones minifigure could retain some value, especially if it remains unique to this set. As an activity book, it may appeal to collectors interested in LEGO-related merchandise, but significant appreciation is unlikely.

Compared to regular LEGO sets, the Official Annual 2024 offers a different experience, focusing on activities and reading alongside a small LEGO build. While it doesn't provide the same building complexity as a dedicated LEGO set, it offers a unique combination of entertainment. For those seeking a more traditional LEGO experience, sets from the City or Creator themes might be more appealing.
