LEGO YouTubers generally praise this reference book with an overall 3.9/5 sentiment, considering the exclusive Pirate (Buccaneer) Batman minifigure an absolute must-have for DC collectors. Channels like BrickVault and BrickQueen laud the comprehensive 2006–2016 character coverage, though reviewers like LEGO Jeffo point out that the bulky cardboard blister inset leaves an awkward hollow profile once the figure is removed.
Top reviewers emphasize that Pirate Batman is one of the most distinctive Batman variants released, highlighting his detailed printing, dual expressions, soft cloth cape, cutlass, and spiked flail. Ashnflash and Brick Hunter also praise the 208-page guide as an invaluable resource for tracking obscure comic variants and rare convention-exclusive figures.
