Before you buy
The LEGO Star Wars Official Annual 2018 is positively reviewed, especially for the included Imperial Gunner minifigure. BrickBros UK specifically highlights its value for those wanting to expand their Death Star ranks, noting it's a cheaper way to obtain that specific minifigure than buying larger sets.
BrickBros UK's review focuses on the annual's contents, mentioning the comic strips, stories, puzzles, and games based on the LEGO Star Wars theme. The Imperial Gunner minifigure's unique helmet and blaster are also called out as desirable features.
