Vehicles is a nostalgic Duplo set that encourages open-ended play. Released in 1998 as part of the Toolo line, this set offers a unique building experience tailored for younger children with its chunky, easy-to-handle pieces and simple screw-based construction.

This set is perfect for young children and Duplo collectors. The oversized elements and tool-based building make it ideal for developing fine motor skills and sparking creative vehicle designs.

Skip this if you're an adult collector seeking intricate building techniques or complex models. Consider more modern Duplo sets with diverse themes or larger building block systems like LEGO Classic for advanced building experiences.

⏳ Retired

The Vehicles set (9122-1) presents a mixed investment outlook. As a retired Duplo set from 1998, its rarity contributes to its current high price. The Toolo line has a niche following, which could drive further appreciation. However, Duplo sets generally don't appreciate as much as standard LEGO sets due to their target audience. The rising price trend suggests increasing collector interest, but potential investors should consider the limited market for vintage Duplo and the condition-sensitivity of used sets.

Compared to modern Duplo vehicle sets, Vehicles offers a unique building experience with its Toolo system. While newer sets may have more specialized pieces and detailed designs, this set provides a simpler, more hands-on approach suitable for very young children. Collectors interested in vintage Duplo might prefer this set, while parents seeking play value may opt for newer, less expensive options.
