Rascus, as a Target exclusive from the Knights Kingdom II line, holds some potential for appreciation. Its relatively low piece count and original MSRP make it an accessible entry point for collectors. The set's value is primarily driven by its rarity as a promotional item and the nostalgia associated with the Knights Kingdom II theme. While not a guaranteed high-return investment, its collectibility and unique character design could lead to modest appreciation over time. Keeping the set sealed with the included cards would be best for long-term potential.

Compared to traditional LEGO castle sets, Rascus offers a different building and play experience with its focus on poseable action figures. Other Knight's Kingdom figures offer a similar experience, but Rascus's unique color scheme and status as a Target exclusive set it apart. If you prefer minifigure-scale play, classic LEGO Castle sets would be a better choice.
