The Steam Cargo Train 7722-1 holds good investment potential due to its age, rarity, and the enduring popularity of LEGO trains. As a vintage set from the 4.5V era, it's highly sought after by collectors. Its relatively low piece count compared to modern sets makes it more accessible to acquire, while its complete set value continues to rise. However, condition is crucial; a set in pristine condition with original packaging will command a premium. Be mindful of potential motor issues due to age.
