📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Elphaba's Retreat is a charming and magical addition to the Wicked LEGO line. The set perfectly captures the whimsical aesthetic of Elphaba's secluded home, with its organic shapes, lush greenery, and vibrant color palette.

This set is perfect for fans of Wicked, LEGO enthusiasts looking for a delightful display piece, and builders of all skill levels. It's a relatively quick and enjoyable build that offers a satisfying combination of creative building techniques and colorful elements.

Skip this if you're seeking a highly complex or technically challenging build. While visually appealing, the build is more focused on aesthetics than intricate engineering. Consider the LEGO Ideas Tree House for a more advanced nature-themed build.

⏳ Current release

Elphaba's Retreat presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a tie-in to the popular Wicked franchise, it benefits from a built-in fan base. The relatively low piece count and price point make it accessible to a wide range of collectors. However, its long-term appreciation will depend on the sustained popularity of the Wicked brand and the set's availability after retirement. While not a guaranteed home run, it has the potential to appreciate modestly over time, especially if kept in pristine condition.
