Before you buy
LEGO YouTubers give the classic 7248 Digger a strong 4.5/5 rating, appreciating its nostalgic value and detailed construction. While reviewers like DailyWeeklyBuilds note that the vintage build is somewhat fragile, its impressive mechanical functionality continues to earn praise.
In a direct comparison with modern counterparts, DailyWeeklyBuilds highlights the 2005 Digger's superior boom arm articulation and wide range of motion despite its smaller footprint. Reviewers also appreciate the classic yellow color palette, though they acknowledge it lacks the sturdiness of newer City releases.
