📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Land Bounty (71869) is a spectacular remake of one of Ninjago's most iconic mobile bases. Drawing inspiration from the legendary 2019 original (70677), this updated version delivers modern building techniques, a highly aggressive aesthetic, and a massive presence that perfectly captures the high-octane fantasy of Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 4.

This set is perfect for young ninja fans and collectors who appreciate robust, feature-packed vehicles. With 1,215 pieces, the build offers an engaging, multi-hour construction experience that rewards you with steering mechanisms, a detailed cockpit, and a highly playable command center on wheels.

Skip this if you already own the 2019 version or prefer static display models over play-focused builds. At $129.99, it is a significant investment, and builders looking for a traditional display piece may prefer Ninjago temple or mech builds instead.

⏳ Current release

Ninjago vehicles, particularly the 'Bounty' class ships and trucks, have historically performed exceptionally well on the secondary market. The original 2019 Land Bounty (70677) appreciated significantly after retirement, showing that the concept has strong collector appeal. This 2026 remake benefits from modern building techniques and a highly desirable lineup of 'Draconus' form minifigures, which are bound to remain exclusive or rare.
