Lloyd's Race Car EVO brings high-speed ninja action to life with a clever upgradeable design. This 279-piece set lets young builders transform a basic buggy into an armored racing machine loaded with cool accessories and weaponry.

This set is perfect for younger Ninjago fans and kids who love dynamic play features. The progressive build stages offer a fun, rewarding construction journey that transitions smoothly into an action-ready vehicle.

Skip this if you are looking for a complex, display-focused adult model. Experienced builders and pure collectors will likely find the build too simple and lightweight for extended shelf display.

⏳ Retired

As a retired Ninjago EVO set, 71763-1 holds a modest but steady appeal for theme completionists and parents looking for affordable secondhand gifts. With 279 pieces and 3 minifigures at an original MSRP of $34.99, it offers decent baseline value, though its heavy reliance on junior-oriented play features keeps it from being a high-tier collector's investment. While it is unlikely to experience explosive secondary market growth, retired Ninjago vehicles with unique upgrade mechanics maintain a reliable baseline demand among younger builders. Investors should expect modest, steady appreciation rather than massive returns, making it a low-risk, low-reward holding.

Compared to other vehicles in the 2022 Ninjago wave like Kai's Fire Dragon EVO or Jay's Thunder Raider, Lloyd's Race Car stands out for its modular upgrade feature. It occupies a great sweet spot for budget-conscious buyers looking for play-heavy sets rather than large display models.

3 Minifigures Included

Cobra Mechanic - Flamethrower

The set includes three minifigures: Lloyd in his EVO outfit, along with two villains (Cobra Mechanic and Python Dynamite). While standard for the wave, the villains' accessories and unique prints add fun play value.
