📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Thunder is a brutal, menacing addition to the classic Hero Factory villain lineup. With his metallic aesthetic, glowing red eyes, and massive crush claw, this set captures the essence of an unstoppable brute.

This set is perfect for nostalgic Hero Factory fans and collectors of classic constraction figures. The quick build makes it a fun nostalgia trip, resulting in a striking display piece with great shelf presence.

Skip this if you prefer traditional system bricks or modern action figures. At 47 pieces, the building experience is very brief, and parts are heavily specialized.

⏳ Retired

Hero Factory as a theme has developed a dedicated nostalgic following since its retirement, and villains like Thunder command strong interest from collectors looking to complete their sets. With a low initial piece count of 47 and a rising price trend, complete sets with instructions and canisters have steadily appreciated on the secondary market. However, investors should be cautious of the specialized nature of constraction parts and condition-sensitive elements like stickers and printed pieces, which can impact overall resale value.
