⏳ Retired

Ekimu the Mask Maker, released in 2016, has seen significant price appreciation since its retirement. The Bionicle theme has a dedicated following, driving demand for complete and sealed sets. While the set isn't particularly rare, its relative affordability at original retail and the rising tide of Bionicle nostalgia contribute to its investment potential. However, the Bionicle theme's overall volatility and the potential for future reboots present some risk.

Compared to other Bionicle sets, Ekimu is a smaller, more affordable option. While it lacks the complexity of larger sets like Umarak the Destroyer (71316-1), it offers a good entry point into the theme. It's also a good alternative to the smaller Toa sets if you prefer a larger, more imposing figure.
