📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Wii U Starter Pack is a charming entry point into the LEGO Dimensions universe. This set provides the core portal build and three iconic minifigures to kickstart your gaming experience, blending physical LEGO building with interactive gameplay.

This set is perfect for LEGO and video game enthusiasts. It offers a unique combination of building and playing, appealing to both kids and adults looking for a fresh LEGO experience. The build is relatively simple, making it accessible for younger builders, while the interactive gameplay adds a layer of complexity for older players.

Skip this if you're strictly a traditional LEGO builder. With the Dimensions game discontinued, the interactive features are limited. Consider focusing on standalone sets from themes like Super Mario for similar brick-built fun without the need for a console.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Wii U Starter Pack's investment potential is moderate. As a retired LEGO Dimensions set, it has some collector appeal due to its unique combination of physical LEGO and interactive gaming. The set includes three popular minifigures, which adds to its value. However, the discontinuation of the LEGO Dimensions game may limit its long-term appreciation. While it's unlikely to skyrocket in value, it could see steady growth, especially if kept in good condition with all original components.

Ghostbusters Level Pack

The Wii U Starter Pack is unique due to its integration with the LEGO Dimensions video game, setting it apart from traditional LEGO sets. While other sets may offer more complex builds or larger piece counts, this set provides a distinct interactive experience. If you're looking for a more traditional LEGO building experience, consider sets from themes like LEGO City or LEGO Creator. However, if you're interested in blending physical LEGO with video games, this set is a great choice, provided you're aware of the game's discontinuation.
