📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Animal from The Muppets Collectible Minifigures series is an absolute burst of anarchic energy in plastic form. Capturing the chaotic drummer's wild red hair, fierce expression, and chaotic vibe in just a few specialized elements, this blind-bag figure is a masterclass in character translation.

This set is perfect for Muppets fans and minifigure collectors looking to complete their cast. With only 16 pieces including his drumsticks and a drum kit setup, assembling Animal is a quick, delightful dive into nostalgia that looks fantastic on a display shelf.

Skip this if you are looking for a traditional building experience or only care about standard brick counts. At just 16 pieces, it is purely a collectible character rather than a traditional build, making secondary market prices the main hurdle.

The Muppets Collectible Minifigures series has proven to be a solid performer on the secondary market since its retirement. Because these were sold in blind bags, specific characters like Animal have steady demand from completists and nostalgia buyers who missed out during the initial retail run. While $4.99 MSRP is long gone, current market prices around $15 reflect strong character popularity rather than massive speculative bubbles. Looking ahead, Animal represents a low-risk, high-nostalgia asset for mini-figure investors. The unique mold for his hair and drum accessories makes him more desirable than standard minifigures. Though it lacks the massive percentage gains of large UCS sets, it occupies minimal storage space and will always have a dedicated pool of Muppet superfans looking to complete their sets.
