Fans appreciate the detailed Paleontologist minifigure and the unique fossil tile, making it a worthwhile addition to any collection. Some feel the price is a bit high for a single minifigure, but the overall design and collectibility are well-received.

📝 Our Take

The Paleontologist is a charming addition to the LEGO Collectible Minifigures line. This figure perfectly captures the spirit of scientific discovery with its detailed accessories and unique fossil tile.

This set is perfect for LEGO minifigure collectors and dinosaur enthusiasts. It’s a quick and easy build, focused on the figure and its accessories, making it great for display or adding to a LEGO city.

Skip this if you are looking for a complex building experience. As a single minifigure, it offers minimal build time. Consider larger dinosaur-themed sets like 76956-1: T. rex Breakout for a more involved build.

B
Investment Grade
Retired
The Paleontologist minifigure from Series 13 has decent investment potential due to its unique theme and relatively low production numbers compared to current minifigure series. As a retired set, its value has been steadily increasing. While not the most sought-after minifigure, its unique printed tile and the popularity of dinosaurs contribute to its appeal. However, single minifigures can be more volatile investments than larger sets.
