Dojo Showdown is a fantastic little Ninjago set that packs a punch. Released in 2015, it perfectly captures the essence of the early Ninjago era with its vibrant colors, engaging play features, and classic ninja aesthetic.

This set is perfect for younger Ninjago fans and collectors looking for a fun, quick build. With just over 200 pieces, it's a great entry point into the theme and offers a satisfying building experience that won't take up too much time.

Skip this if you are only interested in large, highly detailed sets. Consider larger Ninjago temples or modular buildings for a more complex building experience and display piece.

⏳ Retired

Dojo Showdown (70756-1) presents an interesting case for investment. As a retired set from 2015, its price has steadily increased, indicating growing demand from collectors. The set's relatively low piece count and original MSRP make it an accessible entry point for Ninjago completionists. However, its smaller size and lack of unique or exclusive elements might limit its potential for explosive growth. The popularity of the Ninjago theme provides a solid foundation, but potential investors should monitor price trends and consider the set's overall appeal within the broader LEGO market.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to larger Ninjago temples, Dojo Showdown offers a more accessible and affordable option for fans looking to add a dojo to their collection. While it lacks the intricate details and grand scale of sets like the Temple of Airjitzu (70751-1), its compact size and engaging play features make it a great choice for younger builders and collectors with limited space. Consider the larger temples for display pieces and this set for play.

4 Minifigures Included

Includes four minifigures, including the exclusive Griffin Turner, adding to the set's collectible appeal. Kai with Bandana, Sleven, and Karlof are nice additions, though not exclusive to this set.
