📝 Our Take

Soldiers Fort (70412-1) is a charming throwback to classic LEGO Pirates skirmishes. Packed with classic Bluecoat soldiers, cheeky pirates, a working cannon, and a functioning prison cell, this mid-sized fortress delivers pure swashbuckling nostalgia in a tidy, affordable package.

This set is perfect for younger fans getting into action-heavy themes and nostalgic collectors wanting a quick, fun build. At just 234 pieces, it offers an approachable assembly that takes less than an hour, resulting in a playset bursting with storytelling potential.

Skip this if you are looking for a massive, highly detailed display fortification or advanced building techniques. Adult collectors seeking sprawling coastal strongholds might find the scale too compact, making larger modular pirate builds or classic 90s sets a better fit.
