📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Infearno Interception is an underrated gem from LEGO's short-lived sci-fi spy theme, Ultra Agents. Blending high-tech vehicles with neon-infused supervillains, this 2014 set delivers fantastic play value wrapped in a sleek, convertible aesthetic.

This set is perfect for fans of original LEGO themes and builders looking for vibrant translucent parts. The conversion gimmick from street vehicle to hover mode offers a genuinely fun hands-on play loop that appeals to younger builders and nostalgic collectors alike.

Skip this if you are strictly focused on licensed properties or massive display pieces. While charmingly nostalgic, it lacks the complex building techniques found in modern sets and commands a slight aftermarket markup.

⏳ Retired

As a retired set from a niche theme, Infearno Interception has steadily crept up from its original $29.99 MSRP to around $46. Ultra Agents holds a dedicated cult following among fans who appreciate LEGO's original action-oriented IPs, giving this set decent long-term appeal for themed collectors. However, potential investors should keep in mind that niche 2014 themes do not carry the same broad market liquidity or explosive growth as major licensed lines like Star Wars or Harry Potter. While it holds its value reasonably well, heavy reliance on specific buyer nostalgia means appreciation may be slow.

📖 About This Set

Cut off flame-throwing Infearno with this cool convertible hover car!

Calling Ultra Agent Solomon Blaze! Infearno is flying high above Astor City on his flame-powered hover board. The Super Villain is wearing a flamethrower suit and dropping sticks of dynamite, spreading fear among the citizens. Set off in hot pursuit in Agent Solomon’s awesome convertible car with huge wheels and protective translucent blue energy panels. Fold the wheels for hover mode and launch into a midair battle! Target the flame-headed criminal with the dual laser cannons and the hidden automatic missile shooters. And if Infearno’s attacks get too hot to handle, activate the super-cool ejector seat function to evade the flames! Includes 2 minifigures with assorted weapons and accessories: Infearno and Agent Solomon Blaze.

Compared to larger sets in the Ultra Agents line like the 70165 Ultra Agents Mission HQ, this smaller interceptor is much more budget-friendly while still capturing the signature neon-and-chrome aesthetic of the faction.

2 Minifigures Included

Agent Solomon Blaze and the villain Infearno both feature great printing and unique headgear, with Infearno's flame-powered suit being a particular standout for sci-fi fans.
