Large Gift Set (ABB) is a monumental piece of LEGO history from 1949. As one of the earliest boxed assortments featuring the iconic Automatic Binding Bricks precursor to modern LEGO, this set represents the absolute foundational bedrock of the entire hobby.

This set is perfect for vintage LEGO historians and hardcore museum-grade collectors. Constructing or preserving this artifact offers a fascinating look at the very genesis of plastic building toys, complete with the classic slotted bricks that predate the modern internal tube system.

Skip this if you are looking for a modern building experience or play durability. At nearly 75 years old with delicate early plastic elements, this is strictly a display piece for serious archives rather than casual hands-on building.
