The Shell Station, released in 1974, represents a significant piece of LEGO history. Its age, coupled with the iconic Shell branding, makes it a highly desirable set for collectors. The low piece count means complete sets in good condition are increasingly rare and valuable. While the price trend is rising, potential investors should be wary of condition and completeness, as these factors heavily influence its value. Counterfeit versions of the printed bricks also exist, so authentication is essential before purchasing.
