Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Truck with Trailer (685-1) presents a modest investment opportunity due to its age and relative rarity. As a vintage set from 1972, it appeals to collectors interested in the history of LEGO. Its small piece count and simple design mean it's not a high-value set, but well-preserved versions, especially with the original box and instructions, can fetch a premium. The set's value is heavily dependent on condition and completeness. While not a high-growth investment, it's a solid piece of LEGO history.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to modern LEGO City vehicles, this set is significantly simpler in design and construction. Sets like the newer City trucks (60330-1) offer more detailed builds and play features. However, this set's vintage appeal and historical significance make it unique. It's a good choice for collectors interested in LEGO history rather than advanced building techniques.
