The 1:87 VW 1500 presents a compelling investment opportunity due to its age, rarity, and the rising interest in vintage LEGO sets. With a limited production run and a single-piece design, it stands out as a unique collectible. The current price of $600 reflects its scarcity and desirability among collectors, and the upward price trend suggests continued appreciation. However, potential investors should be aware of the set's fragility and the importance of maintaining its condition to maximize value.
