The Wave Racer, while small, benefits from its age and Classic Town theme. Its low piece count keeps it accessible, and the complete set with the original box commands a premium. While not a high-dollar investment, its value is steadily increasing due to nostalgia and scarcity. Collectors seeking a piece of LEGO history will find this set appealing, contributing to its potential for continued appreciation. However, condition is key; a damaged box or missing parts will significantly impact its value.
