The Coastal Rescue Base holds moderate investment potential due to its age and status as a Classic Town set. Complete sets in good condition are sought after by collectors, especially those who focus on vintage LEGO. The set's relatively low piece count compared to modern sets might limit its growth potential, but the nostalgia factor and the completeness of the set as a playset contribute positively to its value. Keeping the box and instructions in good condition is crucial for maximizing resale value. The set's theme, while not as universally popular as Star Wars or modular buildings, has a dedicated following among Classic Town enthusiasts.
