Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Taxi (605-2) holds moderate investment potential due to its age and relative rarity. As a set from the 1970s, it appeals to vintage LEGO collectors. The low piece count means it's unlikely to command extremely high prices, but well-preserved copies with original packaging can fetch a premium. The printed 'TAXI' bricks add to its collectibility. However, condition is critical, and prices can vary significantly. It's a niche investment, but one with potential for appreciation among specialized collectors.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to modern LEGO City vehicles, the Taxi (605-2) is incredibly simple. Sets like the 60320-1 Police Car offer a more detailed building experience and greater playability. However, the Taxi's vintage charm and historical significance make it appealing to collectors seeking a piece of LEGO history. It's a different kind of satisfaction – owning a classic rather than building a complex model.
