Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The LEGO City Main Square set (60271) presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a retired set, its value is expected to gradually increase, driven by the popularity of the LEGO City theme and the set's comprehensive features. The inclusion of 15 minifigures, including several LEGO City Adventures TV characters, adds to its appeal for collectors. However, the broad appeal of the City theme means that price appreciation may be slower compared to more niche or licensed themes. Investors should monitor secondary market trends and consider the set's condition to maximize potential returns.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

The LEGO City Main Square (60271) offers a comprehensive city center experience, similar to sets like the LEGO City Town Square (60026) but with updated designs and more minifigures. While modular buildings like the Bookshop (10270) offer more complex building techniques and display appeal, the Main Square provides a more accessible and play-oriented experience for younger builders. Collectors prioritizing minifigure selection and play features may prefer the Main Square, while those seeking intricate building designs may opt for modular buildings.
