Fans appreciate the set's simple design and nostalgic value, but some find it too basic and lacking in complexity compared to larger Exo-Force sets.

📝 Our Take

The Takeshi Walker 2 is a charming little Exo-Force set. Released in 2006, it's a perfect example of the theme's blend of mechs and Japanese-inspired design, offering a quick and satisfying build for younger fans or those looking for a nostalgic trip.

This set is perfect for Exo-Force enthusiasts and collectors of smaller mechs. Its low piece count makes it a great introduction to the theme, while its unique design and minifigure make it a desirable addition to any Exo-Force collection.

Skip this if you're looking for a complex building experience or a large, imposing mech. This set is more about quick fun and collecting than intricate building, so consider larger Exo-Force sets or other mech-themed LEGO lines for a more challenging build.

Investment Grade

Retired

The Takeshi Walker 2, while small, has potential as an investment due to its age, the popularity of the Exo-Force theme among a dedicated fanbase, and its relatively low piece count, which could lead to scarcity over time. As a retired set, its value is likely to increase gradually, especially if kept in good condition with the box and instructions. However, its small size and common minifigure may limit significant price surges. Investing in multiple sets could mitigate the risk and potentially yield better returns. Keep in mind that investment returns are not guaranteed and depend on market conditions and collector demand.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to other small Exo-Force sets, the Takeshi Walker 2 offers a simple but distinct design. It's smaller and less complex than sets like the Grand Titan (7707-1) or the Uplink (7700-1), but its lower price point makes it more accessible. Collectors might choose this set for its unique aesthetic and as an entry point into the Exo-Force theme, while builders looking for more advanced techniques may prefer larger sets.
