📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

My XL World is an excellent educational tool disguised as a fun LEGO set. This Duplo set is designed to introduce young children to different cultures and communities around the world, promoting diversity and inclusion through play.

This set is perfect for parents, educators, and caregivers of toddlers. It offers a hands-on learning experience that encourages creativity, social skills, and early understanding of global citizenship. The large Duplo bricks are easy for small hands to manipulate, ensuring a safe and engaging playtime.

Skip this if your child has outgrown Duplo bricks. If your child is ready for more complex building, consider transitioning to LEGO Classic sets which offer smaller bricks and more intricate building possibilities. Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

My XL World presents a unique investment opportunity within the Duplo line. As a retired set focused on education and cultural diversity, it appeals to a niche market of parents and educators. The rising price trend suggests increasing demand. However, the high original MSRP and the potential for newer, similar educational sets to be released pose some risks. Collectors interested in unique Duplo sets with a strong educational component may find value in this set, but it's not without risk.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to other Duplo sets, My XL World stands out for its focus on cultural representation and educational themes. While other Duplo sets may focus on specific themes like animals or vehicles, this set offers a broader perspective on the world. It's a good choice for parents and educators who want to introduce young children to global concepts in a playful way.
