📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Kevin & Dug is a delightful diorama capturing the charm of Pixar's 'Up'. This set perfectly embodies the film's heartwarming spirit, bringing two of its most beloved characters to brick-built life for the first time. The inclusion of unique accessories and a colorful design makes it an instant display piece.

This set is perfect for Disney and Pixar fans of all ages. The build is engaging but not overly complex, making it a fun project for families or solo builders. The finished model is a great addition to any collection, evoking fond memories of the film.

Skip this if you're looking for large-scale builds or extensive play features. While charming, this set is primarily designed for display. Consider the LEGO Ideas 'Up' House (21344-1) for a larger, more interactive experience.

Investment Grade

⏳ Current release

This set has good investment potential, driven by the enduring popularity of the 'Up' movie and the exclusive inclusion of Kevin and Dug. The moderate piece count and reasonable price point make it accessible to a wide range of collectors. As a licensed Disney set, it's likely to see appreciation upon retirement. However, its smaller size might limit its long-term growth compared to larger, more complex sets.

This set offers a unique character-focused build compared to larger 'Up' themed sets like the LEGO Ideas house. While smaller in scale, it provides a more affordable and display-friendly option for fans who want to own a piece of the 'Up' universe. Consider 43217-1 'Up' House for a larger build, but this set provides more accurate character models.
