📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Batman & The Joker BrickHeadz is a true gem for collectors. Released in 2016 as part of the initial wave of BrickHeadz, this set perfectly captures the iconic looks of the Dark Knight and his arch-nemesis in a charming, blocky style.

This set is perfect for Batman fans and BrickHeadz enthusiasts. The build is straightforward and enjoyable, resulting in two highly displayable figures that bring a touch of Gotham's chaos and order to any shelf.

Skip this if you're looking for complex building techniques or play features. These are display models first and foremost; consider the larger scale LEGO Batman sets for more intricate builds and playability.

⏳ Retired

This set has seen substantial appreciation since its retirement. As a licensed product featuring two of the most iconic comic book characters, it commands a premium on the secondary market. The low piece count and initial retail price make it an accessible entry point for collectors, further driving demand. However, the high current price also introduces a significant barrier to entry, and future returns may not match past performance. The popularity of the Batman theme and the BrickHeadz line suggest continued interest, but potential buyers should be aware of the considerable investment required.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to other Batman LEGO sets, this BrickHeadz set offers a different style of collecting, focusing on displayable character models rather than vehicles or playsets. While larger Batman sets like the 1989 Batmobile (76139-1) offer more complex builds and play features, this set appeals to collectors who appreciate the BrickHeadz aesthetic and smaller scale. Its high price point reflects its rarity and collectibility compared to currently available sets.
