📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Toy Story is a fantastic multi-character celebration in brick form. Bringing together Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and two aliens in one BrickHeadz multipack makes this an absolute must-have for Pixar fans.

This set is perfect for Disney collectors and BrickHeadz enthusiasts alike. With 528 pieces spread across five distinct figures, it offers a fun, varied building experience that looks brilliant lined up on a shelf.

Skip this if you prefer traditional minifigure-scale play sets. These are stylized display pieces rather than interactive toys, so traditional builders might miss the vehicle or playset aspect.

⏳ Current release

BrickHeadz multipacks, especially those featuring beloved Disney and Pixar characters, historically perform very well on the secondary market once they retire. With five iconic figures included in a single 528-piece box, this set offers strong nostalgia value that appeals to both casual movie fans and hardcore LEGO collectors. The Toy Story IP has enduring multi-generational appeal, ensuring steady long-term demand. While the per-piece value at an MSRP of $39.99 is quite reasonable (roughly 7.5 cents per piece), the real investment driver here is the character selection. Woody and Buzz Lightyear are pop culture icons, and getting Jessie and the aliens together in one boxed set makes it a comprehensive package. Expect this set to appreciate steadily after retirement, particularly among Disney completionists.

Compared to single-character BrickHeadz or smaller duo packs, the Toy Story 40860 set offers incredible value by delivering five distinct builds in one box. Similar to other large franchise multipacks like Star Wars or Harry Potter BrickHeadz, this set maximizes shelf impact and provides a more complete collecting experience right out of the box.
