The Books Are My Passion set, as a LEGO Ideas set, has the potential to appreciate in value, especially if it resonates strongly with book lovers and collectors. Its relatively low piece count and accessible price point may limit its potential for explosive growth, but the unique theme and the collectibility of LEGO Ideas sets could lead to steady appreciation over time. The set's success will depend on its popularity within the LEGO community and the broader book-loving audience. Given its unique subject matter, it may appeal to a niche market, potentially increasing its long-term value. However, the risk remains that if the set isn't particularly popular, its value may not increase significantly.

This set offers a unique theme compared to other display-oriented LEGO sets. While sets like the LEGO Icons Flower Bouquet (10280-1) offer botanical displays, Books Are My Passion caters specifically to book lovers. If you're looking for a similar price point and display size but prefer a different theme, the LEGO Architecture Skyline sets might be a good alternative.
