📝 Our Take

The Easter Basket set is an adorable springtime treat! This charming LEGO build captures the essence of Easter with its vibrant colors, intricate details, and delightful presentation. It's a perfect way to celebrate the holiday with a touch of LEGO creativity.

This set is perfect for LEGO enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. The building experience is enjoyable and not overly complex, making it a great family activity. Once completed, it serves as a beautiful Easter decoration or a unique gift.

Skip this if you are looking for complex building techniques or a large-scale model. While charming, the Easter Basket is a smaller set focused on aesthetics rather than intricate construction. Consider the LEGO Flower Bouquet (10280-1) for a more challenging floral-themed build.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Easter Basket set (40587-1) has moderate investment potential. As a seasonal set, its availability will be limited, which could drive up demand after retirement. The low piece count and relatively low price point make it an accessible set for many collectors. However, its status as a holiday-themed set means its appeal might be limited to those who specifically collect Easter-related items. The set is unlikely to see explosive growth, but it should hold its value or appreciate modestly over time.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Easter Rabbits Display

The Easter Basket is a unique seasonal set, but it shares some similarities with other small decorative LEGO models. It is a good alternative to the LEGO Flower Bouquet (10280-1) if you prefer a more compact and holiday-themed display. It also offers a more accessible price point than larger botanical sets.
