Builders love the cozy fall aesthetic and the inclusion of two highly detailed minifigures, though some note the vignette feels slightly cramped on its small base.

📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Thanksgiving Harvest (40261) is a wonderfully cozy seasonal vignette that perfectly captures the warmth of autumn. Released in 2017, this charming 133-piece set packs an impressive amount of festive detail, from a buildable scarecrow and turkey to a rustic wagon filled with harvested crops.

This set is perfect for holiday decorators and casual builders looking to add a touch of fall charm to their shelves. With its quick 30-minute build time, it serves as a delightful family activity during the Thanksgiving season or a cute desk display that doesn't take up too much space.

Skip this if you are looking for a complex, time-consuming building experience or a large-scale display piece. At just over 130 pieces, advanced builders may find the assembly over too quickly, and might prefer larger Creator Expert or Ideas sets instead.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The LEGO Thanksgiving Harvest (40261) has shown steady, modest appreciation since its retirement, moving from its original $9.99 MSRP to a current value around $16.75. Seasonal vignettes generally have a dedicated collector base, particularly those who build holiday displays year after year. While the percentage growth is solid, the low initial price point limits absolute dollar returns. It is a safe, low-risk hold, but unlikely to see explosive growth compared to licensed themes or larger modular sets. It remains a great, budget-friendly entry point for collectors looking to flip smaller seasonal items.
