Not enough price history for a trend

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Police Rescue Boat, released in 1987, presents a moderate investment opportunity primarily driven by its age and vintage appeal. While the piece count is low, its status as a classic LEGO set contributes to its collectibility. The presence of two minifigures in good condition can significantly enhance its value on the secondary market. However, its relatively common availability compared to other vintage sets may limit substantial price appreciation. Investors should focus on acquiring sets in excellent condition with original packaging to maximize potential returns.

Compared to modern LEGO City boats, the Police Rescue Boat is significantly simpler in design and piece count. Sets like the 60373-1 (Fire Rescue Boat) offer more advanced building techniques and play features but lack the vintage charm of the 4010-1. Collectors prioritizing nostalgia and classic LEGO aesthetics may prefer the 4010-1, while those seeking contemporary designs with greater detail may opt for newer sets.
